KIRKLAND RESIDENCE
Work on this Kirkland homeowner’s residence was conducted to restore the extensive fire damage that destroyed much of this vintage home.
The scope of this project was complicated due to the numerous additions and remodels that were made to the house over the previous years and new code corrections that were required throughout.
The pre-existing stairs were one of the most memorable details in this home. In order to restore them to meet the current code, McBride designed laid out and constructed a curved stairway to replicate the original while meeting the new more stringent buildings codes.
Another key element of this home is the kitchen which features a farmhouse style stove and range as well as book matched Carrera Marble countertops.
