Steve has been with McBride Construction since 1997. With a degree in Loss Control Management from Central Washington University and past work experience working with large commercial and heavy industry general contractors as a site safety coordinator, Steve brings extensive knowledge and experience in the area of safety. Areas of expertise include asbestos, lead and mold abatement, jobsite safety, homeowner safety, claims management, and risk control.

 

During the past 15 years, Steve has had the opportunity to work in several different capacities for a variety of construction companies. As a carpenter, he did framing in a residential setting, then moved on to a larger general contractor forming and pouring concrete on commercial jobsites. He worked as a site safety coordinator on large commercial and heavy industrial projects, managing jobsites which involved several hundred jobsite employees and valued at well over $100,000,000.

 

As Safety Director for McBride, Steve has had the opportunity to work with an extremely proactive management team to achieve one of the best L&I ratings in Washington State.
