Mark started in construction by working with his family in the electrical trade during the summers of the late seventies and early eighties. His real passion for construction started in 1985 in Spokane Washington. After just a few years, relocation to the West side just made sense given the impact of seasons on his trade. Prior to working at MCR and besides working with his family, he has worked with concrete, building wood and metal structures and performing all labor / carpentry work associated with tenant improvements & construction in general.
In 1989 he began working at McBride Construction Resources as a carpenter performing repairs to commercial and residential structures damaged by fire & water. Working his way as carpenter in the field he was promoted to a project superintendent, managing subcontractors and field employees completing multiple projects simultaneously, ultimately being awarded superintendent of the year.
After performing as a project superintendent for several years Mark moved into the office as a production superintendent managing multiple clients. Ultimately Mark advanced to the only project manager of the C.D. Division working alongside the Vice President of the company. Since then the Division has grown to employee six highly dedicated specialized members. Mark now serves as General Manager of the Construction Defect Division and has consulted on over $500,000,000 million dollars in construction defect claims and repaired over $100,000,000 million dollars in defectively constructed buildings with millions more in casualty damaged structures.
Mark has been married since 1990 to his wife Gina and has two daughters. As a family they enjoy the outdoors, camping, friends and family. |
