The late Ken McBride was born and raised in Seattle. He received his BA from the University of Washington in 1972 and his Masters in 1975. While attending the University, he was hired at Purvis Construction as a laborer and, from 1975 to 1984, he advanced to company vice-president. In 1984, Ken founded McBride Construction Resources, Inc.
